our menu changes daily and with the season. we source our ingredients from local, sustainable and/or responsible farmers as often as possible. there is no dress code at any of our restaurants. all our restaurants are wheelchair accessible.
q: what does ssäm mean?
a: anything that is encircled or wrapped.
q: what kind of cuisine is it?
a: we try our best to serve delicious american food.
q: are there menu items for vegetarians (or those with other special diets)?
a: all vegetarian items are listed as such on the menu, however, we have few. please alert your server as to any allergies or special dietary needs you may have.
q: are reservations taken?
a: ssäm bar does not offer standard reservations. we only take reservations for guests who order the bo ssäm, our pork shoulder meal for 6-10 people, or the whole rotisserie duck meal for 3-6 people. for more information, click here.
q: what’s your wait time like?
a: we don’t give out wait times since it can be difficult to accurately predict. if there happens to be a wait, you are welcome to head to booker and dax (in the back of ssam) for a snack and drinks until your table is ready. see the booker and dax beverage menu.
q: is dessert available?
a: yes.
q: may i bring an outside cake to my meal?
a: no, we do not allow outside food. ssäm bar has desserts available on the menu.
q: can large parties be accommodated at ssäm?

a: yes. you can preorder on our to go site here. please note, we do not offer delivery. the bo ssäm is also available to go.
