there is no dress code at any of our restaurants. all our restaurants are wheelchair accessible. seiōbo does not offer take-out, delivery or catering. *please note: out of respect for the other diners, flash photography is not permitted and we asked that phone calls are taken outside of the restaurant.
q: what kind of cuisine is it?
a: we try our best to serve delicious food—there is no specific cuisine. the menu is based on our growing relationships with australian purveyors, farmers and local artisans.
q: what’s on the menu?
a: we offer a daily tasting menu for dinner six nights a week, and for lunch, friday and saturday. we are closed sundays. we do not offer any a la carte options but we will make accommodations for food allergies. please note, we also have a bar area that is walk-in only and serves drinks and snacks.
q: i am vegetarian/I am gluten-free/I have food allergies/I am pregnant, can i eat at seiōbo?
a: yes! we will accommodate major allergies and food restrictions. when making a reservation, please add your food allergies/restrictions to your reservation notes. it’s best if we know in advance, otherwise, we might not be able to accommodate a special menu.
q: how much does it cost?
a: dinner is currently AUD$175. lunch is AUD$100.
q: do you accept walk-ins?
a: we will accept walk-ins on a case-by-case basis. if we have availability and space, we will happily accept your party.
q: why are reservations taken at seiōbo?
a: because the menu and style of service are enhanced by set dining times.
q: how long does it take to eat at seiōbo?
a: dinner includes approximately 13 courses and takes about two hours to complete. lunch includes approximately 8 courses and takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.
q: do you offer beverages?
a: yes, we offer a selection of wine, sake, beer and spirits. we also offer a AUD$95 beverage pairing for dinner and a AUD$60 beverage pairing with lunch. we also serve a non-alcoholic pairing of seasonal juices for AUD$55.
q: may i take pictures?
a: yes, but no flash photography is allowed because we find it’s distracting to the other guests.
q: do you sell gift cards?
a: no. we do not sell momofuku gift cards. star gift cards are accepted with prior momofuku reservation.
