q: what does the fried chicken dinner include?
a: the fried chicken dinner includes two whole fried chickens, one southern style and one korean style. the dinner comes with mu shu pancakes, long spicy peppers, baby carrots, red ball radishes, shiso leaves, bibb lettuce, four sauces and an herb basket.

q: how much is it?
a: $100 for your entire party. not including other food and drinks ordered or tax and tip. please note, we only accept a maximum of four credit cards per table.

q: how do I reserve a fried chicken dinner?

q: what are the available time slots?
a: we offer the fried chicken at lunch and dinner. for dinner, sunday to thursday, 5:30, 6, and 10pm. friday and saturday, 5:30, 6, 10, 11:45 and 11:55pm. the fried chicken lunch is offered everyday at 12 and 2pm.

q: how far in advance does one have to reserve?
a: up to four weeks in advance and at least 48 hours notice for monday to friday reservations. saturday and sunday reservations close at 8pm on thursday evenings.

q: what if I want to cancel my reservation?
a: please cancel by clicking on the cancellation link on your confirmation email. then, you will be sent a cancellation email. we require 48 hours notice for cancellations. if you cancel fewer than 48 hours in advance, or do not attend your reservation, you will be charged $100.

q: how many guests does it feed?
a: 4-8 people. we recommend at least 4 people for the fried chicken and due to space constraints, we only accept a maximum of 8 people.

q: what if i need to change my party size?
a: if you’d like to change the number of guests attending, please do so by responding to your confirmation email or call the fried chicken reservation hotline at 212-500-0831 and leave a message.  please note, your final headcount must be made within 24 hours of your reservations tuesday-friday and by friday for reservations saturday-monday.

q: can we order from the regular menu?
a: yes.

q: are there beverage pairings?
a: no, but your server can recommend wine, beer, sake or soju.

q: are there any vegetarian alternatives to the fried chicken?
a: no, but vegetarians may order items from the regular noodle bar menu.

q: how is the chicken cooked?
a: the southern style chicken is fried with a buttermilk and old bay batter. the korean style chicken is triple fried and served with a light spicy glaze.

q: how much time does it take? how long is the typical fried chicken?
a: your fried chicken will arrive at your table approximately 15 minutes after your reservation time. guests typically take two hours to enjoy the meal.

q: can i make two fried chicken reservations and bring more than 8 guests?
a: no. the largest party size we can accommodate is 8 people.

q: can i order the fried chicken to go?
a: no, not yet.

q: do you have a dress code?
a: no.

q: may i bring an outside cake to my fried chicken meal?
a: no, we do not allow outside food.

q: what should I do if I am running late?
a: there is a 15 minute grace period before we relinquish the table. please make sure your entire party is prompt and arrives at your reservation time. if you will be late, please call our reservation hotline 212-500-0831.

q: may i make a reservation for someone else?
a: no. the person making the reservation must attend the meal.

q: may i purchase a reservation from someone else?
a: no. the person making the reservation must attend the meal.

q: may i sell my reservation?
a: no. the person making the reservation must attend the meal.

q: why do we only take reservations for parties of 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8?
a: the fried chicken is a large format meal for parties of 4 to 8 guests.

q: how many days in the future are available for booking online?
a: our calendar always shows reservations up to one month in advance.

q: when is the new day available online?
a: 10:00 am.

q: how do i know what’s available?
a: green check mark = available / red “x” = taken.

q: i clicked a green check but didn’t get the reservation, why?
a: reservations are given on a first come basis so you have to click fast, really fast. even if you see a green check mark you may not get the seat because someone else may grab it a split second before you.

q: why doesn’t anyone answer the phone?
a: we have a very cool voicemail system that emails your messages to the appropriate person. we’ll get your message on our blackberry/email and get back to you.

q: what happens to cancellations / is there a waiting list / do you allow walk-ins?
a: canceled reservations return to the reservation system. there is no wait list and we do not allow walk-ins for the fried chicken.

q: can i make a reservation by phone?
a: no. sorry but we only take reservations online.

q: i never received my confirmation email. what should i do?
a: check your junk, spam, or bulk e-mail filters.

q: i forgot my password.
a: click on the “forgot password” link on the reservations’ home page.

q: how many reservations can i make per week?
a: we limit reservations to two per week.
