a: we use local farms with responsible and sustainable practices as much as possible.
q: are there menu items for vegetarians (or those with other special diets)?
a: all vegetarian items are listed as such on the menu, however, we have few. please alert your server as to any allergies or special dietary needs you may have.
q: are reservations taken?
a: there are no general reservations taken for the main dining room. we do, however, take reservations for our large format meal, beef 7 ways, and for our lunch prix-fixe and dinner prix-fixe menus. make a reservation.
q: what is the lunch prix-fixe?
a: available during lunch service, the lunch prix-fixe is a 3 course menu that includes milk bar for dessert. the menu changes regularly and currently costs $25 per person. make a reservation.
q: what is the prix fixe dinner?
a: available during dinner service, the dinner prix-fixe is a choice of a 4 course or 5 course menu. the menu changes regularly and currently costs $50 or $60 per person depending on the number of courses. make a reservation.
q: can i eat at the bar?
a: yes, the bar offers both the full lunch and dinner menu during service and a limited menu while the main dining room is closed.

a: we offer a full range of sweets at milk bar; items can be ordered at milk bar or on the mezzanine. in the dining room, we choose to showcase a rotating selection of artisanally produced american cheeses from a group of cheese makers who we love and respect and whose products deserve the attention of our customers.

a: you can either order a “midtown lunch” online or you can order from our bar menu in person.

a: no.
q: how much is an average menu item?
a: our menu and prices change daily. smaller dishes can range from 9 to 16 dollars, and larger dishes range from 26 to 29. the lunch prix fixe is 25 and the dinner prix fixe is 50-60. please note, we only accept a maximum of four credit cards per table.
